Lancome nail polish scent after application?

I recently tried applying some new lancome nail polish. after it dried, it began to and continued to smell sweet, like candy or something, for days, regardless of how much I washed/soaped my hands more than usual. does anyone know if this is normal?|||idk but that sounds great, where did you get it?
